Workshop on getting started your business in Finland - Starter Package

🤓 Conducting an interactive workshop with international talents and colleagues in Lahti, Finland, was a pleasure 🤝. The workshop is named Entrepreventure - Adventures of Entrepreneurship 😇. The two-day workshop has covered the following four main segments of Entrepreneurship 📊:

📍Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship

💡 These were two busy and interactive days. We started from the ABC of entrepreneurship 📝, fitting the entrepreneurship in the Finnish context 🇫🇮, practically starting the business/company 🗄️ in Finland 🇫🇮, and later using digital marketing tools/ecosystems ☢️ to promote the business in Finland. Different tools and programs such as Business Model Canvas 💭, Value Proposition Canvas 💭, Mentimeter👩‍💻, Google forms 📑 and open information banks ℹ️ were utilised for interactive learning and practical understanding of start-to-pro entrepreneurship concepts 🤝.

💢 It was impressive to see all the international talents understanding crucial concepts and grasping the essence of entrepreneurship in no time. Thanks to all participants 👏🏼 and Lahti TalentHub - Team 🙏🏼 . Last but not least, we appreciate the backend efforts of #TeamGimaraGimara Ltd to develop and simplify the main concepts and facilitate the two days of Entrepreventure 👏🏼 . We hope to spread the message 📨 of 'Entreprenventure' 😁 via our upcoming workshops 📝 and always look for collaborations 🤝.

🤓 Gimara Oy toteutti yhteistyössä Lahti Talent Hubin kanssa Entrepreventure - Adventures of Entrepreneurship 😇 -työpajan kansainvälisille osaajille Lahdessa. Kaksipäiväinen työpaja käsitteli neljää yrittäjyyden pääsegmenttiä 📊:

📍Yrittäjyys yleisesti

📍Yrittäjyys Suomessa

📍 Yrityksen perustaminen Suomessa

📍Yrittäjyys ja digitaalinen markkinointi

💡 Työpajoissa vietettiin kaksi kiireistä ja

keskustelevaa päivää. Liikkeelle lähdettiin yrittäjyyden aakkosista 📝 sovittamalla yrittäjyyttä suomalaiseen kontekstiin 🇫🇮. Sen jälkeen tutustuttiin, miten yritystoiminta aloitetaan käytännössä 🗄️ Suomessa 🇫🇮. Lisäksi tutustuttiin lyhyesti joihinkin digitaalisen markkinoinnin työkaluihin ja ekosysteemeihin ja miten niiden avulla ☢️ edistetään liiketoimintaa Suomen toimintaympäristössä. Oppimisessa hyödynnettiin esimerkiksi Business Model Canvasia 💭, Value Proposition Canvasia 💭, Mentimeteriä👩‍💻, Google-lomakkeita 📑 ja avoimia tietopankkeja ℹ️. Tavoitteena oli yrittäjyyskonseptien ymmärtäminen käytännön tasolla 🤝.

💢 Oli vaikuttavaa nähdä tärkeiden käsitteiden ja yrittäjyyden olemuksen ymmärtäminen silmänräpäyksessä.

Afnan Zafar, PhD. 

Afnan works as a Head of Development and Internationalisation at Gimara. He also worked as an RDI Specialist at LAB University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he worked as a coach and company coordinator at Arffman-Barona. He has Post-Doc from Sweden and a PhD in Product Development and Innovations from Finland. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree (PharmD) in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Punjab, majoring in production. Afnan can take a holistic approach to innovation throughout any product and service development lifecycle. He can understand the market needs and develop a product that the market wants.
